Oxford, MS
Designed and built a 20 cubic foot up draft Reduction Kiln. Established cinder block foundation; cut and laid bricks; built arch forms, arches, flues and chimney. Installed gas line to the kiln.
2018 - Gas Burner assembly and building class – The University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS
Researched components to assemble and build two custom gas burners for an up draft reduction kiln. Installed burners on site.

Oversee all club meetings and club related events; Assist in selecting student officers; Managed and coordinated all student events, visiting artist demonstrations/lectures and fundraisers.

Kiln Construction Skills
- Designing kiln blueprints, formulating burner and orifice size, ordering materials and calculating costs
- Building kiln structures comprising of cinderblock foundations, brick courses, burner ports, flues, arches and chimneys

- Potters Wheel (repair or replace pedals, switches, belts, fuses, motors, and perform necessary electrical work and lubrication of parts)
- Soldner, Peter Pugger, Blue Bird Clay Mixers (lubricate moving parts including chains and belts)
- Slab Roller and Extruder (lubricate moving parts)
- Sand Blaster
- Spray Booth and Sprayer (clean or replace booth filters and fix broken sprayers)
- Air Compressor (bleed moisture from the air line)
- Bench and Hand Grinders
- Wood Splitter (motor maintenance and oil changes)
- Chain Saw (motor maintenance, cleaning and chain sharpening)
